Definition

- Emergency Phase : A generic term meaning, as the case may be uncertainty phase, alert and distress phase.

- Uncertain phase : A situation wherein uncertainty exist as to the safety of an aircraft and its occupants.

- Alert Phase : A situation wherein apprehension exist as to the safety of an aircraft and its occupants.

- Distress Phase : Threatened by grave and imminent danger and require immediate assistance.

SEARCH

As an operation normaly by rescue coordinating centre or rescue subcentre. Using available personnel facilities, to locste person in distress.

RESCUE

Is operation to retrive person in distress, provide the initial medical, others needs, deliver them to place of safety.
